Everyone this fixed my haldex issue I have a 8v S3 i launched it and all I had was wheel spin it felt like a front wheel drive car I then changed my oil and no difference but when I primed my pump by watching this tank^^ I had absolutely no wheel spin some people recommend you pump it 2 to 3 times for it to work but dont be fooled by machanics saying that you need a new diff these pumps are comon to fail so doing this really helped my pocket, Apprectiate it heaps thanks for the video👍🏼👍🏼

Going to try this bro! I’ve heard it all. Rear end. Haldex pump. Bevel box. Haldex ecu and ect.. this is an industry “secret” if you know what I mean 💰💰💰 but I’m praying this would work. Will definitely keep everyone updated. Been FWD in my R since I got it in 2020.

I had same problem, ( audi tt mk3 2.0 tfsi quattro 2014) I almost went to garage, I was very upset because I just bought it. I following your steps, test was about 30s, I switch off car after when I done, Start over and car pulls like a train with no wheels spin at all, no matter traction on `sport` or completely off You are a Man

I will confirm this right now. This worked for me. I had to do it like 2 or 3 times but it straightened out. I had a big problem where no matter what gear I would go in the car would spin and cause the traction light to go crazy. I ran the pump a few times and it’s been about 4 months and no issues at all. Anyone reading this if you have obd11 try this feature. Before buying a new pump try this if you have the scan tool. If it doesn’t work most likely a bad pump 100%

Really???? Hmmmm.. I’ve done it twice myself. I will say that I notice the car to be more planted and feels just connected to the road better. I floor it and no spinning either as opposed to in the past it would blow the tires. Have you launched the car and stuff before and after? For me that’s the most important thing

I’m glad I just saw this. A friend of mine with an a3 is having an issue like this. Changed the pump out twice. Serviced it again and again and nothing. Still spinning. I’m going to have him try the full reset and the pump motor reset. I’ll let you know how it goes. Will probably help him later or tomorrow

Just found your channel. Good stuff. I do this relearn process every few months just to keep the Haldex 100%. Not sure since it’s all electronic driven that it adapts to certain driving conditions over time but don’t want to risk blowing the tires every time I put my foot down. 17 R 6MT

Can vouch it works. Thanks Diego. Thought my car was spinning due to an 034 Stage 1 tune, but alas no. Now even more license losing potential. Note for those with OBD11, you need to have the Pro or Ultimate version to do this.

Man it worked! Thank you!!! I think I was fwd for 2 years lol. I tried getting sticky tires and nothing helped my spinning in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Anyone trying this should run the pump. Drive the car for a bit. Turn the car off, then go for another. First pull cought me off guard! She hooks now on stage 2+ and my winter tires!!!

Ahhh, started watching you 3/4 months ago. Your build motivated me to get an s3 I picked up my car 3 weeks ago and had similar traction issues! Thanks to you were all good now, last service performed on the car was 45k matinence and I believe that consists of haldex service (happened days before I picked it up) I wonder if they forgot to do the pump relearn because were ripping now! @@DArias the only issue i had was the motor pump adaptation setting. it wouldnt do anything or i wouldnt hear the haldex make any noise for more than 5 mins. eventually after couple restart on the obd i haeard the haldex pump motor and finally by itself completed the pump process quickly than imagined. I havent been able to test it because of the rain and wet roads. Also i was unaware that the smaller Tscrews were not supposed to come off and i almost pulled off the black case off the pump instead of the pump itself..

Um I’m hearing vibration when I am barely moving as I turn the wheel. Smh .I think I dislocated the ground wire from the smaller screw that holds it to the pump. I may need to completely remove the pump and disconnect it this time to see what I move out of place ..

Is it common for odb11 to be stuck on the reset? Been waiting 5 minutes for it to finish? Yeah I’m currently doing this now due to the VAG specialist having no idea. Had haldex serviced and driving home in fwd only!

Hmmm I would reset the device because it should only take a few seconds and no more than like 15 seconds for it to go through. Make sure your car has power accessories on because that could cause it to not finish

Some of the coding and what not does require you to have the pro version. That being said I absolutely recommend the pro version as it gives you accessibility to almost anything you can think of

So right now it’s my stock Audi wheels on extreme contacts (50ish % tread left) lol and I usually go winter mode at the end of November
