Knate , Ive worked for homeless outreach/assistance in Sacramento, San Francisco, Lake Elsinore all in California. Your work is superior, no judgment, no shaming, no unrealistic demands. California rents are so out of reach that working people live in vehicles, elders who worked all their lives live in vehicles, disabled living in vehicles and it both motivates and terrifies me. Im 76 years old and now Im finding kids 16-28 living on the streets clueless about what to do or how to do it.

Yes! But you ARE the government. How you vote makes a difference. If all the homeless, sick people voted for someone whose proposed policy changes which alleviated the problem of homelessness and medical aid then those policies/person would eventually be elected and changes could be made.
