The Senior Pass, also known as the America the Beautiful-the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass, is a special entrance pass for US citizens and permanent residents who are 62 or older - $80 for a lifetime pass. It's great for someone like him who is a "nomad" and has a vehicle ... The pass gets you admission into over 2000 federally managed recreation areas, including the 63 National Parks. The America the Beautiful pass covers day use or standard entry fees at these locations.

I thought I would mention to check with some senior centers like Dignity Health. Some cities have weekday lunches for free. Also they have food giveaways twice a month. Also the local Salvation Army gives food out weekly. Then there are local churches that give away food weekly. The combination can help you greatly with getting nourishment that saves alot of money monthly. Please check out all of this in your area. We seniors need to help each other with this information

Hey there Just Knate. Bill & Buddy the dog usually live in Paso Robles where I also live. He frequently walks past my office with Buddy and I go out and visit with them. He never has once asked me for money. He is the sweetest man and Bill takes great care of Buddy. I just wanted to tell you "thank you" for taking care of the both of them on this day. I just talked to Bill and gave buddy a good scratch. He is in a similar predicament with a car that is broken down, so he has to walk most places. This man has never once complained to me about his predicament. He is such a good egg.

Buddy is just like my dog 😂 you go in for a pet because the tails waggimg and she will grab your hand with her teeth because nobody is allowed near me not even my son. Shes a special little rescue and the vet says shes so bonded to me because im probably the only person whos been consistently kind to her and not hurt her which breaks my heart shes a tiny little terrier. Thses videos are just wonderful. The world needs more people like Knate.

The young guy is gold he didn't ask more than he need although he barely have anything. Thanks Knate you are a good soul keep on helping please, I hope you start organizing more people to help in a more sophisticated way. If you can organize more people to contribute with their skills and help, you might be able to help in a more convenient way. Instead of giving out more tents, socks, bags etc if you guys come out with a plan you can at least take some of these guys back on their feet more easily very fast by providing small container houses and a kitchen to cook for homeless this way you can feed more people with the same money. Buying a couple of cheap containers or camping trailers or vans and finding a land to put them on might change a lot of lives. And some of these guys you help might start contributing with their skills to help more people.
