I love this game, I bought it shortly after it was released, and I've been playing it ever since. Coldgames has done a phenomenal job on fixing all the bugs as well as adding new stuff to the game. I too under estimated the Moose, never again.

game is early access since 2016. i'm currently playing it right now with a few friends and holy hell the number of bugs are annoying, not even sure why they still exist. like the fact that you're in the chat box typing and if you're hovering over an item while tying the letter "E" you just consume that item anyway (or respawn). aside from the bugs, gave has no real depth to it. hunters have weapons and unlimited ammo but you won't get anything when you kill them and loot their bodies. you can outrun a bear if it's chasing you, BUT that same bear can also teleport right on top of you if you're on high ground

Totally true. Give you an example, I have over 7000 in game hours playing 7 Days to Die. And I like Subsistence better. No comparison really between the two games, Subsistence is very different. Much simpler, less features by 10x. But a lot of fun to play. AND you can play it any way you want like with Hunters off, you can chose the month you play, or multiplayer. I can't say enough good about Subsistence. Oh and I love Valheim, but again it's a totally different game. Lastly, the "world" in Subsistence is just gorgeous to me, a lot better than Valheim or 7 Days. Medieval Dynasty also has a gorgeous world, it's such a pleasure to play, but MD has almost no challenge. If you are a real Gamer and want to play a game that is challenging, try Subsistence. The challenge leads to a feeling of accomplishment. When I had a full village in Med Dyn., a huge base in 7 Days, etc. there was NOT the same feeling of accomplishment.

I tried this game but found it super dull. The ecosystem makes no sense. For example, food is (relatively) difficult to find. A few rabbits and chickens, very very sparse berries. Yet this same ecosystem supports huge populations of wolves, bear and deer? What are they living off of? They never seem to fight each other. There's almost no resource concentration, so there's little reward for exploring one area vs another (wood rich areas vs mineral rich areas, etc). SPending an hour wandering in circles collecting fiber so you can build a doormat is just deadly dull. It's not -hard-, but there's just vast stretches of nothing to do besides look for the next suitcase and hope it has some more feathers or nails or whatever random nonsense in it.

Lol i get it. The animals do fight each other, well bears go after normal prey etc. Theirs under ground caves with a whole diff loot system and u can climb the mountains now. And fishing for food. Takes too many resources to build stuff tho, its way too tedious

Is there towns, cities, looting, cars, trucks, electricity? Is it the same developer as "The Infected" because many of the core mechanics are the same, such as changing seasons, washing the hands after harvesting meat, predators that can be hunted, and that hunt you. Seems so similar, unless it's just a generic recipe used to get people to buy multiple unfinished games?

Coldplay is a single developer he doesn’t have a team everything he has done to the game has been he himself no one else. I am sure he wants to do an AI rework but yeah he is just one man so I doubt it will be any time soon.

Deadside has AI scavs which replace the zombies. So it’s bit like EFT and DayZ. There’s small missions from easy to epic difficulty. Crate drops and helicopter crash sites to get good gear. It’s more of a PVP focus game but you can still make your own base to store all your loot. There are PVP or PVE only servers. But after watching this video it looks like this game has way more content with AI. Both games are great in this genre.

This game was made by 1 guy lol. He said hes the only one working on it. Very impressive considering this and the price. Plus the game is a lot of fun

If I wanted to play rust I would play rust
