"If You Knew My Story" from 'Bright Star' (Fall 2021)

Our production of BRIGHT STAR rolls into the station next week. And here’s our company presenting the uplifting opening number, “If You Knew My Story.” Editor Alice Murphy decides that instead of overseeing other people’s stories, she is going to tell her own story. She starts the beginning of a story that is stranger than fiction, leading to a sweeping tale of pain and redemption that is refreshingly genuine as it is daringly hopeful.
