I think its interesting that Filian has a normal voice and uses it sometimes when talking with some of her other vtuber friends, so this voice is clearly an effort on her part. It's still a very unique voice though, nobody else really has that pitch where it almost makes your ears bleed but in a good way

FWIW, she did once when asked on stream say that this is more or less her real voice, and I'm inclined to trust her. Although, she does have a large variance in her voice, for sure, but I think that's fairly normal.

Hey, happy new year, Filian! Really enjoyed catching some of your content this year. Just as some friendly feedback: I think a few of your subscribers mentioned last time you did this that your wax probably doesn't need to be quite as hot as you're keeping it. From what I've been told, wax only needs to be heated up to *just barely* warm enough to turn liquid. Probably still doesn't feel very good at that temp, but I'd hate to hear about any injuries doing this for our entertainment. ❤
