Not sure why we still think that rich people getting more tax cuts will improve the economy, when it hasn't every time we did it.
@SwansingerLJG5 күн бұрын
Literally nobody thinks that. Anyone voting for it denies that it’s happening, and the politicians enacting it are just lying.

Oh, maybe because it has produced more revenue to the Federal government every single time it's been done dating back to the mid-1920s. The US government does NOT have a revenue problem; it has a spending problem.

Can we put stickers of Trump everywhere saying "this is his fault", like maga did with Biden stickers at the pump?

I totally think we should. Honestly, I think it's things like that, that are going to be needed over the next few years given how we've lost all of legacy media.

As someone that has experienced being in the "poor" tier 750 or roughly 60 bucks less a month in pay is a big fing deal. That can be the difference between overdrawing your checking account because its Wednesday and you need gas to get to work or not. I remember waiting at a gas station till 12:01 am to fill my car on a Friday to avoid things like this because I didn't have enough gas to get home from work

Exactly! Whereas people making $360K+ likely wouldn’t feel the difference with their tax cuts…

The tax proposal that they suggested yesterday is, remove the education credit, mortgage interest deduction, state and local sales or income tax deduction, then child and dependent care credit, student loan interest deduction. Removal of tax on tips and overtime. Removal of head of household status.

Yes, your income taxes will go up if you make under $350k...if the Trump tax cuts are not made permanent. And it will be Democrats, not Trump or Republicans, that will be responsible for that tax increase.

Where is this data? The last time you presented something similar it included tariffs. Tariffs are not income taxes.
@theburgerking12366 күн бұрын
Tarrifs are shockingly a tax. So shocking that they're gonna increase the taxes the regular person pays. Companies will not foot that cost.
@Llortnerof6 күн бұрын
They may as well just be a VAT, though.

@@theburgerking1236 the president does not have to go to Congress for tariffs. By the way, all taxes are passed on to the consumer. What’s the difference between increasing companies, income tax or a tariff tax?
@theburgerking12366 күн бұрын
@@michael695 The difference is that their income taxes dont make them charge less when they pay less. So maybe just maybe. Tarrifs are stupid and the president shouldn't be allowed to put tarrifs on all imported goods in some idiotic attempt to bring back manufacturing without doing ANY of the groundwork required.
