If you're rich, I am totally fine with you living like a King. At least you enjoy your money and your luxury lifestyle has put money back into the economy. Your $200k car means the line workers can take a well-earned holiday, your landscaped gardens can give the landscaper's kids a nice Christmas and you had to buy the plants from somewhere, the security company looking after your mansion can afford to give their drivers a bonus. I don't mind if you are heavily involved in philanthropy, bankrolling public projects, that sort of thing. You are super rich yet giving something back, even if it is just a cynical, self-serving tax dodge. What I cannot stand and do not accept is the super rich taking home like $45m a year yet who say "money doesn't motivate me" and live in a unabomber shack, dressed like a hobo who fell in a river, arguing with a Walmart cashier over an expired coupon for discount cornflakes, and driving a car that's held together by rust and only starts if you shout yabbadabbadoo. All while hoarding their wealth and not giving anyone a bean. People like that - and they do exist, I know one or two - should just surrender their assets and be done with it, because clearly they don't want or need to be rich.

Most relationships in 1950s were abusive, either mentally or physically. Fashion was good, but people putting “married” or “you married a man in 1950s” with some beautiful scenery and some beautiful relationship is saddening lol. People sometimes don’t realize how the judical system and relationships have improved since 1950, one of the examples being the infamous prisoner that escaped 4 prisons, but he was falsely accused. He only escaped because the prison conditions were bad as hell, until Japan lost the war and judical system approved his request to Tokyo prison.

people are always talking about woman are better covering and when men show much skin no one cares and no one compares men to objects that can be ,,used,, and lose their value with every man entering in her or are already polluted with looks. If no man cares if women see the body of the wife and maybe other woman having a Affair with her because they don't see other women as competition but they see other man as one because they know they maybe not treating their woman right and the other guy may does anything better. This jealousy is just about other guys and they blame woman for it. and they say according to their sense that only men can soil with physical acts and looks (they say indirectly that men are devils with an evil eye that defiles and curses when the look meets a woman who is ,,pure,,). Or maybe it's just jealousy without being in a marriage or relationship with the person Just pretend single women are $l0t$ because they are free and dress how they want why is it important to mention that her outfits are covering. I am a man myself but that kind of statements especially from other men are just disgusting. My mom always teached me how i treat woman right and that objectification is never the right thing to go for. I am a grown man 24 years old and i still remember what my mom always told me.

@@maursz There is no doubt that many men just married and then lived peacefully. You can say "it was common" but implying that alll men were abusive is ridiculous. And what's your proof? Your opinion? Because if you've just heard about abuse being common and then assumed that therefore all men had to be that way is insane
@CovertPosting

@@mhm77887 domestic abuse was really common in the 1950s. Women had few rights back then and were still seen as inferior to men and couldn't report it to the police since it wasn't considered to be a crime but a family matter. As an article from The Domestic Violence Resource Center (DVRC), men account for approximately 85 percent of Domestic abuse of their partners during the 1950-1960s, Which is still insane to begin with.

Honestly my great aunt sisters married rich men . That basically got them a cook and a maid. My great aunt married an TV repair man she met going to collage. She became a teacher and he became an head chemist. She also didn't know who to keep house or cook because her mother had wanted all her girls to marry rich and have servants. But her husband taught her. My mom said she became a great cook and seamstress but that they all had to suffer through the learning how to cook. Her husband was a great cook and could sew so he was the one to teach her .

He probably meet my grandma because she was a nurse at the hospital there at the time and shows what a small world it is indeed. Grandma was older then my great uncle because she was born in 1905 and he was born in the 1920s. She was born into a wealth family her sisters all married well and she became a Registered Nurse. She met grandfather in the 1950s and they got married. I think it was a shock to some people because I think folks thought she was a Nun. So you like racial discrimination, women being stuck in the house 24/7, the cold war, and the Korean War? The 1950s was not a walk in the park and it's sad that people like you are too stupid to see that.

@@rattgod these days the way people assign their genders & identity is weird so honestly it is just better to say person. I prefer that too because I am not playing their gender games. This person looks like a woman, but weirdly might want to be called a man or he. I am sick of the ish tbh.

I remember meeting one of the local self made millionaires. You’d never know. Hardest working guy you ever met. Very generous. His wife was a real sweetheart. Always drove older vehicles, had a modest house, shopped at Walmart, wore working clothes and actually worked in them till the day he died, sat in the back at church. And if you had a need they knew about, it was met - but always behind the scenes. Never, ever wanted recognition or credit.
