I made it to chimney with this mod on, it's actually a really fun challenge if you turn off creature spawns. I learned some completely useless tech along the way such as reverse throw boosts that slow you down instead of speeding you up. If I can find a way to turn left at the corner of a pipe and enter the floating left facing pipe in chimney I can make it all the way to pebbles

In my experience Artificer only gets stunned and deafened by explosions, with the exception of the center of the singularity bomb.

I believe you can crouch then jump in place to turn, then continuous pounce to move left UNLESS this doesn't work how I think it does

In my testing, this works, however I haven't been able to turn around by just jumping in one spot. I still had to either climb up the left side of a pole, wall jump of a wall or bounce of a creature to turn around.

Using long jumps (hold jump) while facing left and wallpounces, you CAN actually move left without pressing the left button. This is... beatable, I suppose.

You could actually do saint - use the tongue to go right and then let go when you swing to the left
