Defence has the ball? Cricket would be the same, no? Rounders in the UK and Softball are also the same principles as baseball, no? Are the fielding teams in these sports defensive? I don't think so. Very debatable that Larry.

Peter Neate i think they’re defensive in the sense that they have to stop the batter from getting the runs needed......that’s why they’re defensive in that sense But they’re also offensive at the same time.....to use a football or soccer reference depending on which side of the pond you’re from it’s like counter attacking
