WHat other helmets have you owned to compare this one to?? I have been an Arai guy for 35 years but have been looking at these....the interior of the Arai is spectacular, but the shape of them is simply dated....I have been tossing around the idea of snagging an A-star or AGV just for the looks...but there are no places near me to try them on....take a 1000 dollar leap is a LOT to ask...😛

Man I've had several. I have a Shoei RF1400 and X15, AGV Pista and just added this A* R10. I'm in the minority I think but I didn't much care for the RF1400 or Pista. X15 is amazing and its been my go to helmet for a while. So far I really like R10, extremely light and the aero is awesome.. The Pista looks great but it just didn't do it for me. You'll definitely need plugs with the race helmets, they are loud. X15 is probably the quietest out of the bunch for me but you'll still want the plugs. Pista was definitely the loudest. Try Revzilla for helmets. I've had some not fit and they took it back no questions asked as long as you haven't ridden with it.

@@DongYonder I am dating myself, but I had a shoei X-9 that I loved, but I have had at least 7-8 Arai RX7-RR or Corsair (they called them RX7-rr back in the day). THe interiors are by far the best...but I havent had a chance to check out these new offerings....your right, maybe Revzilla/CycleGear may be the answer...I hate returning them is all...

@@darvishhussain8602 not the factory alpinestars ones, no. For those its one or the other. Using the Shoei curtain allows the use of the Astar spoiler at the same time
