I am a third year law student and I remember In my first year I failed 2 courses... I can't believe it because I worked hard in this courses but still I failed, I was very disappointed in myself. After the results I thought of just quitting and do other things. But I didn't. I kept on fighting and here I am in my third year... Just a year remaining to finish my studies. IT HAS NEVER BEEN EASY. IT HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE AND I THINK I LOVE THE STRUGGLE BECAUSE EVERYDAY AM CHALLENGED TO STUDY HARD, TO WORK HARD, TO DRESS BETTER, TO LOOK BETTER AND TO SPEAK BETTER JUST LIKE THE LAWYER AM MEANT TO BE: Indeed success is a series of back to back failures! As a 13 year old, what he says about ‘If you don’t challenge yourself, you’re going to struggle when faced with more demanding situations in the real world’ does feel more like a truth I need to hear more rather than one that’s difficult to hear. School isn’t difficult for me by any means, but I don’t try to challenge myself often in academics, and with high school next year I probably should. All of this knowledge that I gain won’t mean anything if I don’t have the experience to lead a meaningful adult life.

As someone who just turned 16, I cannot agree more, I never was the studious type, and I could always do a quick cram session the night before a test and end up fine. However, I’ve been trying to fix this (still working on it), and while it’s weird at first, the earlier you start working on pushing yourself, the better prepared you’ll be.
@Martini_MannАй бұрын
As a high school freshman whos been considered a gifted kid my whole life, I couldn't agree more. In the past I could do basically anything with zero effort but now I actually have to learn to study and listen to teachers which is really humbling and stressful at the same time.

You're 13 bro, go live your life and your childhood while you still can. Yeah, you should totally sometimes stop and think, take some notes about what you want to do with your life in the future, but don't focus on that entirely. You're going to end up just living a stressful and complicated life, it's not going to be healthy for you. Just chill, bro, adulthood isn't a 7 headed beast
