For good UIs, always use UIAspectRatioConstraint. Most people use 16:9 aspect ratio monitors but you have to remember that not every player does, some people use some weird ass monitors and other players may be on mobile devices. If you don't use aspect ratio constraint, your UIs will look okay on your screen and on most screens where the aspect ratio is similar to your screen, but it will become warped on screens with different aspect ratio.

I encounter this problem all the time. Say I want a square button, it looks great on my PC. However, on my 4:3 mobile, it seems squished. I *could* use pixel scaling but then it might take up too much space or might just be too small.

They should make a UI plug-in that will automatically scale to the edges of a part on surface gui instead of spending 5 years getting the right scale

great plugin, although i think it is a much better idea to simply make your GUI's using the scale property on the size instead of the offset, basically that's using fractions instead of pixel amounts to make it scale correctly on different screens. UIAspectRatioConstrainsts like what the plugin uses do similar things but they only make it stay the exact same shape, which can look weird in a gui

You can also scale the size and position to the screen for e.g instead of 100,0,100,0 you would make it to 0,0.1,0,0.1

This is actually not true, setting the UDim2.fromScale(0.1, 0.1) will not make it 100 pixels wide (and height) it will instead scaled by the player's screensize like this : UDim2.fromScale(Screensize.X * XPercentageSize, ScreenSize.Y * YPercentageSize). You need to get the player's screen size X and Y, divide frame size X and Y by the screen size X and Y CalculatedX = frame.Size.X.Offset / ScreenSize.X CalculatedY = frame.Size.Y.Offset / ScreenSize.Y also you need to check if the player's screen size changed (probably unnecessary). And lastly, set frame.Size to UDim2.fromScale(CalculatedX, CalculatedY). Sorry if I made any mistakes here.

I'm 11 months late but i felt that i had to respond. Just using scaling is not enough. It will still squish on different aspect ratios. Use scaling + UI aspect ratio constraint
