German here. Germany committed more than two genocides in the 20th century. Wieland forgot to mention the genocides of the Slavs, especially the Polish and the Russians, and the Romani people. Thank you for reminding me of the Jüdische Stimme für gerechten Frieden in Nahost, in English Jewish Voice for Peace in the Middle East, I almost forgot they existed.

I did not notice. Thanks for sharing. I admire German culture which I got to know through my piano studies. I don’t understand how a country with brilliant thinkers and creators could have gone down this road more than once, as you have mentioned. But as an American, I recognize it is not much different here with all the genocides perpetrated on native Indians.

@@DearProfessorRF I guess because Germany was united very recently in history and was done so by the march of Brandenburg / duchy of Prussia. Which became a highly militarised society. Whereas for the 1000 years prior to that, the area now Germany consisted of myriad little kingdoms and duchies and counties making up the holy Roman empire. Which is where ppl like Bach lived. But that's just my thoughts. All Europe was very militaristic and genocidal for a long time.

I’m always amazed at how the narrative of Nazi crimes became only about Jews, conveniently leaving out 27 millions Russians killed by Germans. Russia has never recovered from that blow. And that’s not even counting Serbs, Poles, etc.

Oh, but you can. You see, in realpolitiks genocide is bad when it’s perpetrated against you or your allies, but rather tolerable (or outright celebrated) when perpetrated against your enemies. Haven’t you read the Old Testament? This has always been the Western cultural code, and foundation of it’s wealth and power.

It kind of looks like that. It gave Israel and the West 'pretext' they wanted to go ahead with their naked imperial land grabbing agenda. Many I know feel that way too.

You need to keep messages short. The shorter, the greater the chance it will pass. So split if you must. Don't write the names of countries, rather speak of our transatlantic friends or "on the east coast of the Mediteranian sea". Speak of janoside, construct words fonetically using (preferably existing) other words. It's cumbersome and frustrating. The filtering is all automatic using AI. Which gets smarter. The goal seems to be to prevent discussion. You are here to watch ads, not to engange with fellow commenters.

No. Germany is helping killers. The many jews that are against the genocide don't get any help from Germany, in contrary: Germany tries to silence them.
