Seriously.. This has me frustrated too. I know what a normal friendship looks like. My line of work is in the Behavioral Health field and my job is to look for Behavioral patterns, how can I be right about my job and see all the patterns in this show, just to be told by the writers that I am wrong? Anyone else have a platonic friendship with someone and stare at them the way these two do? Or obsess about how painful it feels to lose them? Or stare at selfie with both of you in it alone feeling sad? I am sorry but I don't care what the writers say. You can't tell me these two are not in love.

@@KaraLuthorZorEl In the beginning of season 3 Kara resented being supergirl and pushed her own sister and super friends away because she was grieving Mon-El but as soon as Lena makes the speech on the waterfront about what Supergirl means to her, Kara cracks a smile. 😊 Lena managed to do what the rest couldn't. Lena was so crushed and heartbroken 💔 in season 5. If Kara was her only friend then maybe I can believe losing your only friend. But Lena at that point still had Sam. When Andrea or Eve betrayed her she was angry but not heartbroken like this. The only reason Lena wanted to "Make Kara feel the pain she felt" was because she was devastated beyond words.

Let's say that season 5 when both Kara and Lena are going through the worst because of their fall out. Both Lena and Kara realize that for a friendship falling apart this hurt way too much. It felt more like a break up. If they figured out that they felt more than just a friendship and came to terms with it. How would they move to take the next step? What would that even look like? I imagine it would be extremely hard for both of them to tell the other the truth.. but I still wonder who would be the first to say anything and how? Anyone with a creative mind want to help me out here? What would be the push to finally get one of them to admit how they really feel and confess it to the other? Let's forget about the writers for a moment.. Anyone?
