👍👍👍✌💯 Good point that self help just reinforces mind identification. Thanks for the reminder that we have to stop believing the lies of the mind, which are preventing us from seeing true nature. It would be nice to have a list of all those lies, so we could memorize the list and then denounce them when they happen. Insidious lies of the mind: 1. I am a human with a body and a mind. 2. I am the creator of my thoughts. 3. I need circumstances and outcomes to be a certain way in order to be fulfilled. 4. I am separate from others and I need to protect myself from others....

After listening to your talk, I sat down and just tried to experience myself as the one who is observing myself think, feel, and experience physical sensations. I was astonished at how this observing self seemed totally uninterested in doing anything constructive at all. Eventually, I got up went for a walk and then cooked dinner. The rest of the evening continued to go smoothly. I did not experience anything extraordinary, no miracles, no altered states, but everything was easy, from cooking dinner to promoting my online business on social media. What happens if you slow down the mind and begin to see things from the viewpoint of an observer? Does your life improve as a result?

Hi Heather, how would you apply this to finding a suitable job when one has been seeking one for years just to keep head above water? It’s been quite frustrating for years. I feel if I stop trying I will simply end up on the street.
@heatherralstonnonduality3 сағат бұрын
Situations like this move our understanding from theoretical to directly experienced - use it to soften. Are you using wisdom to find the job, or the churning mind? I’ve certainly experienced something like this, as well as an obvious shift when I realize I’ve been looking in the wrong place or ignoring an asset or resource (or that I’m adhering to a structure that doesn’t suit me). The point is not to do nothing or quit, but to experience inspired doing from a place of peace. Just a reminder that this situation doesn’t define you whatsoever. Step back and look at the sequence of events as cause and effect. 🙏

You are the car. If you want to go places you still have to drive you still have to learn to drive you still have to maintain the car. Even if you do all this there is always risk and danger so you still have to play the 3D games and protect yourself to the best of your ability. I am hiring engineers, they must have the proper education, training,experience even after they are hired they still have to get along and perform. Realization that your spirit is not the car your spirit is whole and complete does not absolve you from living and living by the rules the universe/god put on this world.

In this cleaning up process rage appeared; rage was expressed. Was that struggling? NO. Effortless automatic full adenine alpha female took the wheel. How does that work, it appears and is experienced? Body was contracted severely and blood pumping to brain was apparent. Much burping, and throat chakra very active recently. Feel changes everywhere and thank you. Body appeared like a field hospital for the critically injured with ptsd. Didn't catch the rage building. Was I supposed to? I have been guided all of memory, don't know why this is sensed so strongly and yet resistance to it is sensed. Like it is too good to be true, it is too good. Might find Joy or happiness. Need a smile and shake head emoji here. Its ok and everything is more unknown and less cared about and nothing can be said about "I know" So why care about rage? It is not who I am. It is not preferred. What happens to rage? What happens to grief unexpressed from the age of 4. So much coming loose and its ok. Seemingly doubt is sensed and fear and that is ok also. Am a reiki practitioner not a master and practiced enough to be dangerous and learned 20 years ago. Again, sense of doubt when I've seen it work like you have. What is that? Pls Advise.

I feel like the word struggle is being used in a different way by her here. Not that we never do anything that is challenging. For example, after Angelo Dilullo “woke up” he still went to medical school. I’m sure he had to work to learn and do. Maybe she means the feeling of efforting? Like when if we are egoically “trying,” rather than just physically putting some effort in to do something.
@heatherralstonnondualityКүн бұрын
@@lizchurchill6051 Yes. To struggle requires resistance to something and/or a sense of working really hard perhaps without the outcome you want. You can have no money and not be struggling. You can have everything and experience great internal struggle.

@@heatherralstonnonduality you can also feel no internal struggle, but still struggle to move a couch up the stairs. ;) Or find yourself struggling to pass a chemistry class, and hire a tutor to help. (Without any internal resistance.)

Imagine if you had this nonstop, inner dialogue about breathing and were convinced that every breath was consciously up to you. According to your beliefs based on the way things appear, you are solely responsible for when your breathing happens and therefore to blame when it doesn’t. You’d be constantly scanning for future breathing obstacles. You’d create ridiculous stories about how you’re to blame for any restriction in breathing that arises. You’d be in therapy just to deal with the shame of that time you let a bit of water go down the wrong pipe. Just like the experience of breathing happens or doesn’t, the body/mind will get up, take a shower, get dressed, and get itself to a job if that is what is occurring. The body/mind will lay in bed and doomscroll if that is what is occurring. It’s just happening. The inner dialogue about all of it is just arising as well, as spontaneously as a fart. The belief in that inner dialogue is what makes you feel separate and responsible for what is happening, but that belief is also just occurring. It’s all just happening. Not only is there nothing to do, there’s nothing you can do.

Advaita is " not " Non Duality. This is a westernized Fabrication, but ok. If you ever find your body in extreme levels of physical pain which comes on unexpected and does not seem to leave, your perspective might undergo some kind of alteration. Exactly what that will look like will be completely on the blind side of your awareness. It will create issues in the physical plane that demand some sort of action. And its about that simple. In this state a person will have been cornered. The complexity that comes in is most sordid. The idea that suffering is a choice in this space is a Colossal joke, and another westernized meme.
