Ascendant has been feeling like OG plat recently. Plat used to be silent and when I first hit Ascendant 3 acts ago it was a gold mine of comming teammates… now I’ve been stuck here for 3 acts and I swear the comms lobbies have dwindled down SOOOO much. 1 every 10 or so games I’ll get a full 5 man comming… 5/10 it’s me and ONE teammate (usually duelist, as I play initiator) and the other 4/10 times it’s complete silence and I’m yapping into the void

I’ve been seeing a bunch of smurfs in my games, the smurf is either on your team or the enemy team. Had a game which went to 23 rounds, the enemy Jett had nearly 50 kills and still lost. Just going around instantly headshotting everyone

I think this is what makes valorant so hard is that. Its always ur team that makes games hard cause, most dont go on youtube and study they just play but as much as i hate that, it does make you better cause you start to get frustrated and begin to see things or take risk and it benefits you. and i agree with playing alot which sucks if you work….. For me i feel 2 games a day are not enough When i started to do 3/4 games I notice by game 3, im more aware of things and in the zone and start to see openings

I try and warn every time that opponents cypher traps are on the site and we rotate or entry with utility but people just keep walking into them one by one anyways instead of together to shoot it out after first one. Yes, I am maining cypher myself and see this happen to my advance as well, which makes it even more obvious the problem exist so much. I noticed that in some games I play Kayo and get to disable them, team usually enter fine together and do well so maybe that's the meta to rank up nowdays.

Im having queue fears, ive tried many accounts and telling myself its just a few pixels but constantly find myself scared to play ranked. The most ive played an act is 65hours. I do have around 60% wr so if i play i should be able to rank up but i still find myself scared to play :(

Serious (non-coach) tip on having a better time in ranked (for ranks Gold-Ascendant) that may result in ranking up: Don't play for RR. Play to win games and improving, but try to have the most fun. Try to play consistent. The more inconsistent you are, the more the games feel 50/50 because of your MMR. OR: just get a duo...

Heres my issue. Im stuck in iron because every game i play no one knows the absolute BASICS of the game, or my team throws the game. And i dont mean like just playing bad, i mean they say in chat "okay, gg, im throwing". And its EVERY GAME. The enemy team is ALWAYS better and they at least know the very basics of the game. If i dont hard carry a game, i dont win. That is the only time. I almost always top frag when playing comp but im consistent middle frag in swift and unrated. I dont think i belong in iron, but i cant get out because of this. If i got out of iron i would be able to climb, but its impossible to get out of iron thanks to this.

U need friends to play with. Iron lobby is the most unpredictable lobby where it is totally dangerous to solo queue. I have been in iron for a long time and I do have my fair share of hopeless mistakes but the main things I have noticed that people dont use comms, they are always ready to surr and sometimes they just won't listen. So instead of solo queue, play with atleast 2 more people you know in valorant

I completely agree with the entire video except "same skill teammates and opponents". Its just not true, matchmaker always tries to balance team out so that a person who had kd2 for the past few games gets a lose streak reyna just to balance everyone's winrate to 50%. Its a reality of every ranked system nowadays for some reason
