I was at this concert and, at the time, "If You See Her Say Hello" was my favourite Dylan song. When the music intro started my heart hit my mouth and I thought..."it isn't...it can't be...." but it was! Such a beautiful vocal too, gentle...reflective...but with regret and pain just below the scratched surface. A stunning harmonica solo by Dylan too. He was fully engaged in this wonderful performance. Listening to and watching this again for the first time since '95, makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this polished gem.

Lovely harp work from Dylan here and a gentle, engaging, vocal. Winston Watson's drumming is perhaps a tad too heavy for my taste or this arrangement, though. "If You See Her Say Hello" is a too rarely performed gem from Dylan's back catalogue. So wonderful to have come across this!

I don't get why, but Dylan was on his A-game this night. Most performances around this time are a hit or miss. This ones great. And that version of Jokerman he did the same night was probably better than the actual studio recording.

Winston did a documentary about his time in Dylan's band. Winston pretty much says that ,one night after a show, they were all eating diner together. Van Morrison was at the table. Van told Bob that he did not like his drummer, he felt his style did not fit with what Dylan was trying to do. Dylan fired him shortly after. I think he is an electrician now.
