How is faith a choice? I was born with biological factors I can’t control, into an environment I didn’t choose, with a brain I didn’t choose that now leads me to doubt even though I DONT want to. I’ve tried not being honest with myself and my doubts and it just makes me feel like a fraud and I know god knows my mind and will see through the veil of running away from my questions and doubts. Hes not gonna buy that I purposely didn’t confront my fears because I was afraid I would get answers I didn’t like: such as his non existence. I don’t want that-so the option is to run? Gods smarter than that and will know. So again, how is faith a choice?

I need prayer. For years I’ve been on the verge of just ending it. Always staring at things that could just end my life completely. I’ve hidden this pain because no one needed to know. But for us as believers we also suffer like those who do not believe(yet the other part of that suffering is different). Jesus said: "This world will give you tribulations, but take heart, I've overcome the world." Jesus himself when he came in the world, he suffered all his Life, and he never said that those who believed in him will not suffer. In fact, it is to expect. But, what he promised is that in all this, he will be there and we will always find peace and joy in him, because he overcame. And it's the faith in his victory that he gave to all who believed in him that allows us to stand firm through any hardship.

Nov 4th - Rory, there is hope if you become a prayer warrior . God , through a Man of God told me in early 1990 to start praying each day and to go to my secret place of prayer . He was preparing me for a healing ministry which would involve daily prayer . I had received a healing ministry which I prayed for in the 1980s. I wasn’t using it until 2 years ago when I prayed for a man who was bi-polar. He had been going to church with his wife but gave up trying to turn his life over to Jesus . I prayed and God showed me how the Holy Spirit was being poured upon him. 3 days later his wife said that her husband was now on fire for Jesus. If you and I pray daily and come before Jesus there is a chance that God can reduce the pain-level. Hun I understand completely. I've been there. I've been sexually abused, but the key is to view bodies and nudity as beauty instead of as inappropriate. That's one thing the church will not teach you. But that's what personally helped me and knowing that God wants to give me my fairytale ending. I know it's hard to wait. He created our ability to feel. Every aspect about us that God created, is meant to be satisfied by Him. That includes our feelings.

Jan 21-Ana are you going to your secret place each morning ? Try if you are not but if you are then pray for the Baptism of the Spirit. In 1976 , April , in an old hotel room I had checked into I reached my end in trying to locate a stolen car stolen through a white -collar con job . I had gone to Christian churches but hadn’t invited Jesus into my heart until that day . I had A Billy Graham book which explained how to become a born again Christian . After asking Jesus into my heart that day I read the whole book of Mathew then went to sleep . The following morning I stepped into the shower and suddenly a HOLY FIRE descended upon my head and rolled through me . I was baptized in the Holy Spirit that morning. Have you prayed for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit ? I was fortunate to receive it early in my Christian conversion . Go each morning to your private place of prayer and sit before Jesus and ask each morning for the Baptism of the Spirit. Certain denominations believe that the born again experience is the BAPTISM of the Spirit -- NO , it’s not . Jesus talked about it. Dec 30- have you been going to your secret place daily ? If not start doing that . Look at Daniel the prophet’s consistent prayers each day . In his hour of need God delivered him. Pray for Baptism of the Spirit- You will have the presence of God’s Spirit in your soul . Dedicate each day to talking to Jesus in the morning and pray for those who also need forgiveness . Pray for the lost at your job who don’t know Jesus . God told me to start praying daily in 1990 and that changed my walk with the Lord . Well get born again.. if your born again you can't get any closer to God s presence he will move to the inside and you become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus you become equal to Jesus himself... if you mean you want to feel his presence then you need to repent because the spiritual realm can't be accessed by yoir 5 physical senses.. but faith can be felt by the 5 senses but faith doesn't make the spiritual realm real its real whether you believe it or not. Faith is the substance of things hoped for

Nov 4th -- if you set aside Catholic teaching of praying to Mother Mary then you can seek God through Jesus and ask for the filling of the Holy Spirit. I visited a prayer -Bible study at a Catholic Church in West Covina with Spirit-filled priests - ui went one time and noticed that no one would come to their meetings on a Wednesday night - they all went into the main Sanctuary . I am a Protestant Christian but couldn’t keep coming on Thursdays or Wednesdays because I started a new ministry at a retirement home where I gave Bible studies . Dec 10- it’s our choice - if we come before Jesus each morning in our secret place we can ask for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit . I agree that we must believe the scriptures which say we have passed ftom death into life and we have been born again spiritually which is required for salvation , but a Christian will never know what they are missing out on if they don’t go to their secret place each day and pray for God to give them the “Living Water,” which Jesus talked about at the well with the Samaritan woman who was there getting water . God told me in 1990 through a Man of God that I hadn’t been praying hardly at all on a daily basis . God said to me : “ THUS SAYS THE LORD, YOU DON’T PRAY . I WANT YOU YO HUMBLE YOURSELF EACH MORNING AND START PRAYING TO ME.” I began in early 1990 and humbled myself each morning and began praying for our church missionaries and the members of my church for healing of those who had infirmities . 2 years later our missionary in South Sudan told me God gave Word of knowledge to his fellow missionaries and said the Missionary Camp was under God’s protection because angels had been sent from Heaven .
