Rider at 9:30 covers the clutch but not the front brake. The other way around is much safer., If you cover the front brake then it's much easier to brake smoothly and prevent lockup.

5:00 Filtering is legal in the UK but you cannot overtake the final vehicle before a pedestrian crossing where there are zigzag lines, even when filtering. UK highway code rule 191.

5minutes in yes you are allowed to filter. However on zigzags. If there was a person waiting to cross or crossing the road you are not allowed to overtake or filter. Check the highway code.

What is the gate I don’t know but at the end of your video the bike lane is also called as a motorcycle lane because they both a vehicle and they both like something you can sit on vehicles like cars cars have four seats so that does not count as a bike line so your motorcycle can be in the bike lane but lane but I’m just saying because in our city bikes can drive in the road I mean bikes and I should he can drive on sidewalks only bikes and bike sidewalks and also in motorcycles can drive on a bike sidewalk cause they’re both two vehicles only have two

Lister of Smeg was an idiot. The driver had no issue with filtering. He had an issue with overtaking the lead vehicle at a crossing with zig zags. Don’t just learn the rules what suit you - learn them all.

Chains suck. This is why I love my belt drive. Zero maintenance. No oil all over your rim. Super quiet. Never had one fail yet. Watch, this will be the year I break one.

Not quite "zero" on the maintenance, but certainly minimal. You SHOULD still inspect it a few times a year, blow off and brush off any crusties, depending on riding terrain and conditions... AND when it starts "crackling" just get a new one. They last years upon years with almost no attention, but that little tiny bit {and a solid dose of GOOD QUALITY "belt dressing" or "refresher" helps, too} is still the difference between making it home ALL the time, and stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere squared... ["Thanks a LOT, Murphy!"] ;o)

A: It's safer and also one less vehicle adding to the traffic queue. B: I see it as a trade-off. In a car you are dry, cool/warm, comfortable, have music and all that while I get to skip traffic. If someone doesn't like that they can get a motorcycle and trade many conveniences of a car for the one convenience of skipping traffic on a bike.

I don't have a motorcycle how but I can understand it for backed up/stopped traffic with enough room permitting it. But many motorcyclists abuse it and take needless risks. Especially the assholes who speed on the highway and lanesplit going over 70mph.

@@theabhominal8131 True but the first point still stands, it's safer especially on highways/motorways where people in cars that are on their phones can plow into standing traffic at 70mph. Also there really is no reason for motorcycles to take up the same space as a car in traffic but that's just my opinion. At the end of the day I don't always lane split anyways just when traffic is really bad. I drive to most places out of convenience these days but don't mind bikes cutting past when I'm sitting in traffic.

AND just keep a breaker tool and quick links in your kit "just in case"... With proper maintenance and change intervals observed, you'll probably NEVER EVER need them... BUT it's always better to have them and NOT need them than to need one to get the bike home and NOT have it... Fellow Riders.....DO NOT ride in the center of the lane....other drivers can not see you or see you in time to avoid you. Ride on the far left or far right sides of the lane and people will see you much better.
