Awesome! I think this is your best ZZ Top style cover yet! The southern swagger works perfectly with the song, and I hear a little Deep Purple in there too. ZZ Top already kind of had a proto-southern metal sound sometimes (Seriously, you could make a compilation of their heaviest songs from the 70's and you might have the first southern metal album), which I think could make for a perfect fit for the rest of the Paranoid album.

Start out with the "Deguello" album. Several great songs there, which aren't played on the radio. Examples: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWmzqHqOZryra80si=_8mzo5o37BeHNdyR

Their album "Deguello" is a good place to start listening. Good songs abound, but which don't receive radio airplay, such as: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWmzqHqOZryra80si=3IVMIdzilp32gdId and: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZeaq5hsq8iGlZosi=QzV16yajUXusvCXu

A good place to start would be their 1979 album, "Degüello". It contains "Cheap Sunglasses", but more importantly it contains several great songs that don't receive airplay: 1). Lowdown in the Street 2). I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide 3). Esther Be the One 4). Fool For Your Stockings Here's a great, but largely unknown song off their 1st album(ironically titled "ZZ Top's First Album"): **Neighbor, Neighbor.
