I don't think you'd hate those. 😅 I've been a die-hard Doors fan for 57 years. (Since Light My Fire came out. My 2nd favorite band doesn't even come close.)

All hail the algorithm! ZZ Top has been one of my favorite bands for 40+ years now; since I was a little kid. IMHO you capture the essence of ZZ Top spot on. And now I see you've done a whole freaking Metallica album in their style?! Love it! New subscriber!

I'm an SG man, so was Robbie, but damn that Les Paul is perfect for this track. Crushing tone, Even got what I used to call the Billy Gibbons squeaky thumb technique. But he didn't normally let it ring like that, it was usually part of a staccato grind and bend. I fucking love these reworks! Thanks for the time you put into your work.

The SG is the Gibson Telecaster. You can do anything with it.

ZZ Top was my first concert (Eliminator tour) and Riders on the Storm is my favorite song of all time...and I just can't get behind this. I can accept the creativity and talent of pulling off this mashup...gotta give props where they're due...but that's it. It just loses all the mystery and psychedelia of the original track.
