It never surprises me why some people leave a negative comment making accusations that are completely unfounded...simply a fool given a crayon and told how to spell by their mummy before putting said crayon up their nose lol...no claims it was Jons idea or that it was a new method.. Informative and helpful to those of us who've never used this method before...cheers.

Thanks for that big reply Jon about our homeland 😊 you mentioned loads of stuff (eg. Bailys in Warwick) that I'd totally forgotten about, plus more. "Memories" ah? lol I gave up match fishing years ago, after years of doing the circuit. Having 3 daughters within 14 months, & having to work away from home to earn a crust, put paid to my match fishing.... You can hardly arrive home on Friday night & go match fishing the next day, with no practice, then bugger off back to work? thereafter? 😊 .... anyway, I've got a few secrets & tips if you & your audience would like to hear? Sort the good stuff from the crap tho ❤

You can fish a short hooklength on a bomb too. Only thing I can think of really is that it might cast a bit better than a bomb and bag if you're chucking a long way maybe?

Jon uses 8-10 Slik elastic, the cut offs from elasticating his top kits.

@@Frankster8039 It was a mixture of 8mm and 6mm Dynamite Bait Carp Pellets. Mainly 8mm's!

@@ifishmatrix Thanks for your feedback. I fished 2 times with this elastic sysytem and it workd very well..I am much more confident that the pellets come to the right place now and not come out for they land on the bottom..

This method is much more aerodynamic for casting, and also has the added hooking properties of a very short hooklink.

Saw this John with will raison 3 years ago,I was mystified then,why didn't you just put the feeder and pellets in the pva stocking and tie around the stem with tape and your hookbaits bang in the middle? Bet Andy Findlay is in stitches 😂 Keep em coming john.🙏

Easier just to fish it carp style with a lead and pva mesh bag attached to hook

I've thought if that but Jon's method is for feeder fishing which u can change the feed to groundbait anytime and the feeder can be changed as well.

Nisa do a purpose design called the "Bag up feeder leads" ...been using them for donkeys!

If you watch the Facebook Live from the same session as this video the first thing I said was the idea probably first came from Gold Valley several years ago and Jimmy Bullard was the first person to popularise it. Don't get this one, why not just use an inline bomb and hook the pva bag on? Seems a lot less messing around than adapting feeders
