Great tool review. I have had a couple of IFIXIT drivers over the years. Nice quality, If memory serves, I have been happy with them.

Yesh i have been using them at work i was sat on the floor working on some equipment and they are holding up well. I would like to see the IFIXIT website have a section though where you can buy any combination of heads as spares when i break one though.

You may have mentioned it and I just missed it, but looks like theres 1/4 and 3/8 socket adaptors. Then looks like theres also some sockets for the 1/4 drive? Juat makes the 1/4 and 3/8 adaptors a bit pointless IMO. The drivers looks great though, perfect one to just live at your desk/office for whatever you will need, from computers, to assembing an office chair, or a desk etc. Its the first kit I've seen you review that looks like it could just be the kit for an office, the 1/4 only kits just won't cut it for some things, then you'd need another screwdriver as well. I'd like to see ratching on that 1/4 driver though, especially since it has the spinning top to it, thats perfect for a ratching mechanism.

Yeah true i was surprised to see any sockets in this set i would have liked to see a few long nut drivers instead. Ss right now i have had this in the back flap on my veto pro pack which is the small pack i can quickly grab at work when I don't want to go fishing for tools in my store room. But i will be moving this to my desk as right now i have a wiha stubby with bits inside and a few other handy tools. but this is a nice desk type setup where you will have everything you need for most instances. I would not want to take this out in the field though. Sticking this on the ground or balancing it on my legs or something like that would annoy me. I agree with you on the office type setup as you must have precision for that. I was looking at the massive precision set from wera but its silly priced!

I've added a bunch of tools to a Tekton Everybit kit which I've had for 7 years. It's small and gets the job done most of the time. It doesn't seem like this Manta kit has an extension included which is too bad. They include a flexible one on their Mako and Pro Tech kits.
