Looking forward to this one. I firmly believe Billy Joe will win on a wide points decision. It wont be the classic they are both talking about because they are both counter punchers to I think it will be a chess match rather than a war.

MDGravey15 It's always a chess match. Even though it looks like a war, the footwork is constantly being adjusted to gain new angles of attack and create the foundation for balance and leverage so big shots can be created and delivered.

Matt stephens It's called the sweet science for a reason chap. Footwork is literally the foundation of all boxing technique. The correct use of the feet is as important as the correct use of the hands, the feet dictate to the hands which punch to create. Evading shots, parrying, creating new angles of attack, changing the rhythm, creating openings that cause your opponent throw a particular shot that you have a counter for, in fighting etc. these are all things that are being used in a strategic manner to enable you to find routes to the head and body and all require the correct footwork. Boxing is feet, hands and head and all three are as important as each other. The better boxer will win the fight. As a rule if you lose your boxing you'll lose the match.

I don't see how so many people can confidently pick a Billy Joe win, his best win is Chris Eubank Jr. people, and he struggled badly in that. Saunders is european level, no more, Jackson, Korobov, Quillin, all more dangerous fighters than Saunders.

+edward jon Bennett Vera no longer counts. Andy beat the breaks off of him, and not only was the Chavez loss a shady loss but Andy has improved so much since then. Lee was a top amateur also, an Olympian

+stephen bryant we will see how O'Sullivan does against Eubank, but certainly Eubank was the most high profile win of Saunders career, Ryder and Blackwell are European level at the very best

+DanIrish409 BJS has been british , commonwealth and european champion so to say eubank jnr , who is unproven and and has only beat bums , was his greatest win , shows your lack of boxing knowledge and he didn't struggle to beat eubanks he won comfortably ( maybe not on scorecards but it was comfortable in my opinion)

+Mr G realize that just shows how unimportant those titles are then, Saunders has yet to fight a real good opponent, it is unfortunate that his first step up will be Lee. You are right, Eubank is piss poor, but there is nobody else on Saunder's record Eubank cannot beat, and that says a lot.

+Mr G and Lee KO's Average Joe, by the way, I never rated Billy. He has good technical boxing skill but not enough in his arsenal, will have to prove me wrong by beating Lee, but do not think he will, Lee can box with Saunders, and he can also spark him out with one shot. Korobov was never hurt before Lee, Quillin never really hurt before Lee, John Jackson never down either as I recall, Lee can hurt anybody with that hook, no matter how good people think their chin is.

They are both travellers one English one irish different accents then traditional English . Love the accents tho and both are very good fighters . Like the respect between both of them .
