Lee is also vocal about the state of Irish boxing and how MTK, a front organisation for Danial Kinahan of the Kinahan Cartel, has scandalised and brought drug money into boxing. Lee is very much his own man. He is the only guy in boxing talking about this.

It still amazes me that nobody is talking about it over here in the UK. Non of the boxing press. Kugey Bear is up to his neck in it taking that drug money, someone should ask him about it. Passively listened to this whilst folding the washing (funny I know), but became massively hooked after a few minutes. Emanuel Was/is my favourite trainer, it is so good to gain this insight and hear Lee’s passion. This guy is top quality, what a shame his career mainly stemmed from before the boom of boxing social media via KZbin. Could have been a much bigger name than he was.

Andy Lee has always spoken well and seems to eschew the traditional image we often have of travellers. Quite a few travellers I've known, and I've known a few, are actually pretty intelligent. They are not well educated but that doesn't mean some of them aren't bright. The problem is the thieving, fly-tipping and such; they largely have no concern for others and carry a collective persecution complex similar to the Jews. We are always picking up their shit. In terms of honour and core values amongst each other though, the fighting culture etc., I find it difficult to criticise them. Those values I respect.

Interesting to hear that he fought BJS with detached retina and could do so since initial Medical was clear. Really should introduce rule to protect fighters from themselves in these situations e.g. medical before fight sanctioned and further mandatory medical no later than a week prior to bout.
