Questions are not repeated word-to-word but yes! The topics are generally circulated well throughout the years . I guess , atleast 70-75% of the students pass it in first attempt . It all depends on your hard work & consistency .

I don't know for sure, but I think it is mandatory to take part in it, if not in all but in some of the universities in Ukraine. And if failed twice we will be deported to India, I heard it has happened with few people.
