I forgot to mention that the product as always comes well packaged and has a carrying bag as well as a wrist strap (I removed it on the product shown) * The quick release mechanism is compatible with virtually any standard fit head from other manufacturers so you don't need to specifically use ifootage heads. * You can also quickly release the camera from the monopod this way when you want a fast transition to handheld shooting. * The tripod feet are available separately so if you just want those then you don't have to buy the entire tripod. What do you think of this Monopod and who's thinking of getting one?

@yonishperling1531 I'm a bit confused (that isn't hard let's be honest) 😁

I meant ; the legs can point upwards and then it would take less space

Nice review - I've only ever heard good things about the Cobra monopod. Those pull-down quick release things are great - used to have something similar on a gimbal I used...

@GeoffCooper The quick release is super awesome, I just need to get one for my tripod now! I'm also debating on getting one of their K5S video heads as the one I'm using is very small (but it works well though)

@@JoeMaranophotography yeah, a quick release liek that and then the ability to move heads between them would be cool

@@JoeMaranophotography Yeah, I have, and we also have a 6-week-old little boy now :) I actually do have a video fairly close to completion but my only editing time is while commuting on the train so might be another couple of weeks...!

You should check out the Cobra 3 Strike that was recently released. I didnt think the Cobra 3 could get any better, until i got my hands on the Strike. Game changer!!

@McClendon15 is that the one that has cool ultra quick releases?

Great video Joe, thanks for sharing..Love the tripod feet idea, but how well do they work in a hide environment as you suggested, those shelves are narrow. Plus you mentioned its good for videography, put stuck in the air like it is , is it stable enough, like a tripod is or is it wobbling about? 🤔

@Huddsbirder I'll be testing it out in another video :) the leggs can also be put more upright (I show 3 positions in the video) I would say that no one is going to use it at 1.8 metres. I actually only extend 2 of the legs and then lower them a bit more for my height (5ft 9") Naturally it's going to be more stable when the height is lower though :) I would say this is primarily a videography tool that can work well for wildlife rather than a wildlife tool for video.

@JoeMaranophotography Having had experience with monopods im still in the tripod camp, I'll hang on for your review, need something lighter 👍

@Huddsbirder In my this makes sense as a product to supplement your tripod setup - I don't think you could forgo a tripod completely (depending on what you do of course)

Nice review, Joe. Looks like a pain in the bottom on the height adjustment. Why stick height adjustment on the bottom?

@Matt_h_photo Thanks mate! That's good input actually and I can see what you mean. In reality when you are stood up using it I just simply lift it and let it drop so it's easier than it appears here when I'm sat down. Good feedback though mate, I appreciate it and I'm sure ifootage will too :)

@JoeMaranophotography I like the idea of the tiny tripod. That would work well, but I think that height adjustment could be a deal breaker for me.

@@Matt_h_photo You can purchase the mini tripod separately which is good. Personally I'm okay with the adjustment myself as I just lift and let the leg drop down but yeah it's a design choice that I hadn't picked up on until you said!

@georgeh738 zero creep on it whatsoever which is absolutely amazing tbh! Yes any standard fit head will work on it
