for the sprint u can also have the auto tac sprint but go to your keys and there go to advanced movement keys and bind walk to shift so when ur pressing shift it just walks and when ur not pressing shift it does the auto tacsprint

An alternative to turning off diving all together, I switched the slide to hold and the dive to press. It's an easier input layout when it come to traversal especially if you NEED to dive in order to go from sprinting to on the ground in a short amount lf time.

As a controller user I will continue to use tac sprint always on because I can partially move my thumbstick to walk or slow walk still, one of the very few benefits of controller over M+K and that's also why I didn't put the left thumbstick sense maximum lower than 99 because I'd rather have a super tiny delay in starting my sprint (I've played enough games with thumbstick movement as part of input combos to be able to slap that thing forward fast enough the lower sense maximum would make an imperceptibly small difference in speed) than losing the ability to reliably walk or slow walk due to a smaller partial input window on the thumbstick. Walk and slow walk is for if I'm trying to sus out an opponent's location via footsteps nearby in a building without them detecting my own. So far I pretty consistently get the jump on people they really don't expect someone to not be sprinting 100% of the time lol Gotta thank my Battlefield player experience for that skill, as much as COD tries to act serious I barely ever see players that know how to room clear and they get corner camper sniped over and over lol

1:23 As you can see at the static crosshair description, the removing of the crosshair wobble is only a visual change and doesn't influence gameplay. You can only disable it to reduce motion sickness but your gun will still wobble. Don't get confused if youre wondering later on why your shots aren't hitting. Mw2 had this same problem to nerf mnk players

And that’s the bigger problem. Why do they need to mess with peoples gaming experience? The benefit of MNK is having that precise and predictable movements. It’s the whole reason why controllers need aim assist. If I’m trying to straif and shoot, it seems that I’m expected to do things that are counter intuitive to make my shots land.

Aim assist on controllers works from across the maps big dawg, it didn’t nerf me in the slightest, im still better and have 3KD. 🤷‍♂️ they didn’t change the aiming, it’s no different than any other cod on MNK, my shots hit just fine

Yeah, the options are literally endless and that’s either a fault or virtue on this video game. I definitely modded some of my settings and it’s helped me completely, especially with the sprint the run the dive in the crosshairs it makes me feel more comfortable and move freely. I still get my ass kicked in some games and some games I kill it.other games you can tell the Internet connection sucks or the people are cheating which I’ve heard still goes on.

@@tucko11 I will say, you won't see in the enemy's minimap in the killcam and sometimes they might have had a UAV and have seen where you were. I think some players know how to use some equipment to their advantage, have a good idea of the map and where players might go, have a good loadout, know what they can shoot through, etc.

If you are on controller and have auto-tac sprint on. YOU DO NOT LOSE THE ABILITY TO WALK like on mouse & keyboard. The joystick is an analog input and it takes use of that. Just push you joystick up a little and you can walk. I play controller and I'm keeping my auto-tac sprint on.

Doesn't fire at max rate for some weapons. Just be aware. If that tradeoff is ok, definitely do it. I switched back.

Great stuff, but in Zombies the dive is uber important for using the PHD Flopper Perc A Cola which gives you a handy explosion whenever you dive or fall. It's one of the faster ways to take out several zombies at once and without expending any ammo or grenades.

The crosshair moves around because it's indicating where your bullets will go - be mindful that turning your crosshair to static will not give you a true indication of your hipfire aim, nor where your aimpoint will be when you transition to ADS

Just so you know when you switch the crosshairs to static it does not represent the direction the bullets are actually going to go. It's an accessibility issue to reduce emotion sickness but your bullets will not be following the crosshair if it is static...

Really obscure trick. The dolphin dive allows you to reload thru the entire animation as its not consitered sprinting/sliding its its own movement therefore no restriction just like walking.

I've played around with auto tac sprint and I don't like how it stops me from going into a dropshot fast if I get shot from behind and need to do a quick 360. Instead I made it so there is no running animation and it's 1 tap tac sprint like you did is there anyway for auto tac sprint and still being able to dropshot fast? If not, that's definitely another reason to go with your movement idea

All so I don’t know if this is just me but since the season 3 reload automatic tac cancels my reloading completely and sometimes even if the reload animation is finished it doesn’t actually reload it I still have the same amount of bullets in the chamber

Good vid but I can't agree with some of these settings. Crosshair placement when set to static results in less accurate shot placement. Also dive can be critical to movement and winning gunfights. Better to remap than eliminate it on controller. And for me at least, i'm more accurate when ADS FOV is independent (i'm also a KBM player and the extra zoom seems to help especially at close range, when dealing with rotational aim assist controller people) / I set tac sprint the same way as you, nice.
