Great videos!!! I stumbled upon your channel just today and already binged all your videos. I like that you talked through your checklist in this video unlike your other ones. Stay safe

Wycombe Air Park (Booker) was my old stomping ground back in the 80's. Lot of happy memories from back then, especially in the bar after a long days flying.😁👍

Great video in a lovely aircraft to my local airfield Lee on Solent. I've just subscribed and will now watch your other videos. I saw N42LR again at Lee on Solent about ten days ago. Keep up the good work and enjoy your flying.

just realized you have an american registration how does that work?
@richardtyrer3 жыл бұрын
I registered in America because the purpose of the aircraft is to complete a world trip! There are more FAA maintenance stations located worldwide and also it’s easier to Modify for ferry tanks under the FAA

@@richardtyrer That's interesting to know! However, I believe there are a few places that the US government does not allow US-registered aircraft to fly, such as Iraq and Somalia.
@tgm99913 жыл бұрын
@@igclapp Think it's more a warning against travel in those countries rather than a ban, the UKs CAA has a very similar list as well.
@igclapp3 жыл бұрын
@@tgm9991 No, it's an actual ban, as in illegal.

I love your videos but I can't hold in this question anymore. Why does an Englishman fly an Austrian airplane in the United Kingdom with US registrations?
@richardtyrer3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kelvin! Sounds like a bit of a riddle! Austrian aeroplane because they make a really solid airframe with great efficiency and avionics, and the US Reg because it gives me much more flexibility when travelling far abroad! 😁

Hi there, I'm a journalist at The Telegraph in London writing an article on high-end fly in communities/air parks. I'd love to chat to you or someone who lives in one of these communities or is an expert on it. Is this something you could help with? Thanks, Precious Adesina

He's Got a Twin Engine DA42 - He Only climbs to 8000 Feet. A Single Engine Cessna C152 - 3000 to 4000 Feet. The C172 = Bigger Engine = 7000 Feet. This DA42 has TWO Smaller Engines = 8000 Feet.

The Clouds Start at 6000 Feet. Your Satellites are at 7200 Feet. Heat Seeking Stingers Can hit you Up to 10,000 Feet (3 Kilometres / 2 Miles). Radar Surface to Air Missiles can Hit You at 23,000 Feet, even if you deploy Decoys. You Have to Fly at 30,000 Feet and Deploy Decoys if illuminated. Then your adversary has to send up a Fighter Jet to Attack you.
