My RNG has sucked this week, first I turned around 70 Iron banner engrams to try to get the autorifle roll i wanted, nope, then i turned in 100 wish engrams and only 1 red border. Im not getting back on till reset.

Funny enough, I secured a max range Rose w/ Slideshot and Opening shot, but at the time it wasn't considered the God Roll. I knew it was a good roll, but I wanted that Slideshot and Rangefinder roll. Never did get that roll, but Bungie went out and did me a solid by nerfing Rangefinder 🤷‍♂

I’ve only had to focus 5 to get my five out of five god roll. Two the first week wiffed but this week I got two with slide shot and explosive payload. On of them being my personal 5 out of 5 being full bore, accurized rounds, Slide shot, explosive payload with a handling master work. I do want to try to get one with a range master work to see which I’d rather have as well as one with opening shot and All the same perks.

Your "personal 5 out of 5" is flawed. Full bore, accurized and a handling masterwork get yours to, in terms of range, stability and handling in that order, 68, 35, 65. If you have corkscrew rifling and a range masterwork instead, the stats are: 68, 50, 65. Your roll is objectively worse than the one with corkscrew and a range mw due to fullbore just removing stats from stability and handling. +15 stability is nothing to scoff at, either. It is pretty huge. Not to say your roll is bad, it just isnt a 5 out of 5, and this isnt even a "personal preference" thing, yours just lacks the stats a true 5 out of 5 could have.

Well that’s completely wrong 😂 my range is 71 and my stability is 33 which is low but I don’t really even notice it cause all hand cannons have terrible muzzle bounce on controller and my handling is at 80. Also the difference of 10 range is one meter.

I feel you on Rose. I haven't gotten as many as you but I've never even seen one with explosive payload. I get rangefinder or vorpal about 70% of the time. Finally got a rangey quickdraw openings shot which is very playable, but still... With that said, I'm still loving that you can focus old comp weapons, huge qol improvement.

Explosive is the way to go: 1) can hipfire 1shot wall nades 2) can destroy threadlings ez 3) can use to destroy lines ez for build 4) catch ppl who are one shot by shooting a surface 5) flinch factor 6) explosive part doesn’t suffer from dmg fall off Imo explosive rounds are hands down the best hc perk for any given column since rf nerf

Strand hunter is pure movement with a balanced kit till they put on exotic to double the amount of clones but than again evert class has a cheese so but strand hunter 9 times out of 10 piss on you with pure neutral movement

If some guy had insane movement and killed me, he’s better. You trade your ability to play revives or points for personal movement and survivability (lore accurate lol). But the quadruple threading build with sixth coyote decoys and double nades is BIG cringe.
