This one was surprising. I thought going into it that it might be just a quick meditation. But the impact of connecting with these three parts has given me an unexpected insight into some of my behavior and mindset. Thank you. Excellent meditation.

Thank you, Rebecca, for tuning in and sharing your insight. I notice these three parts in myself every time I need to plan and take care of something. Here, I label them for clarity but they may wish to be viewed or called differently within each one of us. Gratitude and Blessings.🙏

My friend(s), here's a thought I want to present here: Any/All parts of us are born because we have a need for them. Thus every part is actually a friend and a protector. We just have to make sure each part is doing what they are supposed to do and not starting to or trying to get more powerful than they are supposed to. The reason I bring this up is that I want to present the idea that the Procrastinator is actually a very Greatly Needed Friend to us. The Procrastinator intuitively knows when all other things are not lined up for us to move forward, and thus find some way or another to delay things until all things are lined up. Now ofcourse the problem happens if we have started to depend on the procrastinator too much, and have not given our TaskMaster or the LIfe Scheduler enough Power. We have to recognize each part's job, and empower them accordingly, as well recognize each part's limits, and set boundaries accordingly. That is what I think and feel and have come to realize from my experiences in the World, and thus presenting it here. Disregard if it does not resonate. Thanks for reading.

Wonderful reflection and insight. Thanks for sharing it. I am with you. Indeed all parts have the best intention and do their best to help us navigate life. But sometimes what they do for us is not aligned, creating inner conflict and polarization. This drains our energy and invites self-criticizing thoughts or beliefs. But once we come to our center and notice and appreciate what they do for us, without judgment, they start working better in harmony with each other. This is the key to Self Leadership. Our ability to notice them, stay connected to them, and take a mediating role to help them express themselves without any conflict. Blessings.🙏

My poor scheduler. Most of the other characters can't stand her. But boy I sure need her to speak up more. I gave her a lot of love during this meditation

Good to hear, Christina. We need our scheduler to stay on top of things and minimize our catching up efforts. Best Wishes.🙏

This is the second of the IFS meditations on your channel that I have tried. They are immeasurably helpful. Your voice is so easy to listen to and the pacing is nice. I have enough space to pause if I want to spend more time with a part or on something. I was a little lost trying to find a scheduler. I have a very laid-back lifestyle, but I do have a taskmaster. So when you referred to it that way, I paused it and looked for that part. Perhaps the scheduler is a different part for me. Anyway - thank you!!

Thank you, J P, for sharing your thoughts. I have been trying to create more space in between but it will ultimately be difficult to hit the perfect range, as our parts may need more time to open up. I am glad you are using pause to give them that time. I agree with you that you may have a different part that may be keeping an eye on things on your plate. I notice in my work that the part of us that keeps track of things that need to be done is not always the one doing the work. This usually creates polarization and burnout in our task masters. But one way or another a part of us is keeping an eye of what is in our plate. 😊🙏
