Anyone here recall how good the optimization is in the Series X version of Metro Exodus (next gen version)? That's what the developers at GSC Game World need to do with Stalker 2 for the Series S/X, especially the X. I don't care if you have to downgrade a little bit the game's LOD or textures. Just do something to give us a consistent 60 frames per second. Hell, Witcher 3 next gen version and Cyberpunk 2077 deliver good framerates as a result of serious optimization. GSC Game World needs to get with it, IMO.

Metro exodus fell to 540p what would you know this is less than 800x600 So it's not such a good optimization. To get 60 fps in S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 you need good CPUs. the one in the Xbox series is missing And lowering the graphics will not help this! The fact that Cyberpunk and Metro run on consoles at 60 fps is due to the fact that they ran on consoles of the previous generation with weak CPUs

The problem Is that they Need to reduce the Number of people that randomly spawn around the map and fix the A-life system (where Is possibile ).Because Is all there the problem, cause if you find yourself in a part of the map with zero people,the game runs at 60fps with no problem. And of course they NEED to optimize the native resolution and other things. But the real performance problem Is in the A-life system.

If they only remove the damned vsync it wouldn’t be as bad. Idk maybeeee use the consoles vrr instead of old tech like vsync

@@amirranjbar1995 VRR (variable refresh rate) is for variable rates, not locked 30fps/60fps where vsync is usually applied. Also both the console and the TV must support it through a legit hdmi 2.1, and on the Playstation side, they have released stats showing only a small minority to even be gaming on HDMI 2.1 capable displays. Still at a locked 30fps and no variable refresh, vsync makes sense. Also if there is a VRR range beyond 48-120hz on TVs, I have never seen it. I game on a Samsung S90c 4k/144hz OLED as well and using CRU, the VRR range is 48-120hz.

37 FPS in performance mode is not supposed to be in a game for which the devs ask a full price. It’s almost a scam. I hope they keep fixing it, or this studio is done. Thanks for keeping us up to date with these analysis, I really appreciate it.

Yes, if the resolution is lower the soc need to work „less“ than he can achive more framerates but if the fps is not capped.
