Seeing the Fort reminds me of our outlying island Kinmen, and seeing the turtle sign reminds me that it also looks like our outlying island Green Island. Sint Eustatius is really amazing! The neighbor who gave you the pie and the passerby who gave you a ride were so kind. It shows that the locals are very welcoming! Since November 7, 1992, the battlefield administration has been terminated and it is open to tourists. It is a tourist attraction suitable for war fans! Was just in Statia for a couple of weeks in January. Beautiful island. Tranquil. Friendly. Authentic. Stayed 1km from Fort de Windt. BTW there is a nice public beach in the lower town that is great for lounging in the sun and swimming.

I lived there from 2006-2008. There used to be a medical school there that I attended. Sadly, I didn't take advantage of the beautiful sight scenes and snorkeling was offering, because I was buried in the books studying most of the time.

u should look into how statia build their houses because in America u have storms that take your houses away and we in statia we know how to build our houses to cope with the extreme weather, since hurricane Hugo, and ever since not that many houses got destroyed by extreme hurricanes , just saying
