Thank you so much for visiting Hong Kong. I live just right next to harbour grand, and I know there very much. When you try your pineapple bun, that store isn’t the most popular one, if u guys walk 5 more meters to yr right, that store sells the best pineapple bun in the world

Welcome to HK, it is a good sign that more and more westerners visiting HK in recent years after the flood of Chinese mainlanders. Things are quite expensive in here, and there are few other smaller supermarkets we will shop for lower price. Those Michelin rated restaurants are super expensive very few local will go ! I would suggest next time you come to visit those remote islands, like Cheung Chau which is my favorite place to visit, just 45min. from the HK island, you will see more traditional living style over there. Also Lamma and Lautau island. If you enjoy water sports and boating and want to see some wildlife in here then Sai Kung is highly recommended, which is located at the eastern part of 'New Territory' . Once again thanks for visiting, and hope to see you again !

I will be visiting Jodhpur and Jaisalmer next month and was looking for tips on what historic places to visit in these 2 cities. Your video certainly showed me the hot spots in Jodhpur. Video was very well made. Keep up the good work as you visit more countries. I'll be watching your videos and hopefully my travel plans will take me to the same cities that you both visit.

Smart , you got off at Tsing Yi and transit to Central, that would save you almost half fare fees. (Instead of taking direct express from airport to Central).

can we still see cherry blossom around april?
@IfWeGoTo5 күн бұрын
Hi! The cherry blossoms can change so much every year depending on the temperature, weather, light, species, location, the list goes on! When we visited we visited on a couple of dates in early-mid March and thought that was just about peak season, so I think it would be possible to still see some in early April. Although, as with all things in nature, it’s impossible to predict! Close to the expected blooms many countries will release forecasts, those may be a bit more accurate. :)

I am sorry for what you encountered in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, if there is construction noise between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. on normal days or at any time on a general holiday, you may ask the police for help. Anyways, hotels are VERY STRONGLY recommended for tourists to Hong Kong for many reasons, and hotels will deal with the unacceptable noises for you. Next time, you may consider coming to Hong Kong around November, to avoid rain, fog, hotness and typhoons. Hong Kong is humid and hot in summer, easy to heat stroke. Hope the unlucky experiences did not wipe out the good sides of Hong Kong!
@IfWeGoTo4 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your tips!! We agree, it is far better to do hotels!! And don’t worry, they definitely did not ruin our time there! We had a hard a rough start of course, but we absolutely loved Hong Kong! Can’t wait to visit again! 🥰

Great video. It is very sad that the sention and travel alert since 2019. The double digit recession affect the economy and many things recess 30% from 2019. Travellers skip Hong Kong makes a lot of sense, but the good news is hotels rate are cheaper and the country side areas are still beautiful. Visit the country side is highly recommended.

@IfWeGoTo2 күн бұрын
Angus cafe was our favorite breakfast spot! We were staying in Mong Kok originally, just an airbnb, we did a quick tour of it in our first video, but it was a pretty non-descript spot. Nothing fancy, but we liked it until the nonstop noise!! Also thank you, we appreciate that, it means a lot! <3

The pineapple bun is usually a round one with crunchy topping, instead of a stick-like one you ate. The best place to taste it should be at a Hong Kong style restaurant, with a piece of cold butter embedded in a warm bun, better still with a cup of milk tea.

the house or 'stone" at 3:00 minutes is called that because most houses were built from wood back then. its called the devil's stone or devils house because his last name was "den duyvel" or the devil and he was a merchant and he kicked his wife to death. its all on google.

@IfWeGoTo13 күн бұрын
Sorry we missed the explanation part on that!! We usually keep USA hours, so we have to keep an unusual schedule! (A side note that the people doing construction were truly doing it all day and night, not just in our schedule!! If it was during normal living hours we would have sucked it up!)
