IG303 1993 Civic head gasket installation D15

Some new information has come to me since creating this video, specifically there was a TSB from Honda on these head gaskets which I show on screen when installing the head. Honda created a MPS (multi-part steel) gasket to help with the leaking issues. Honda no longer offers the OE MPS part, but FEL-Pro does.
We actually redid this project with this head gasket, after finding the single layer one still leaked: amzn.to/3SycgqP
I used the OEM Honda bolts from the TSB to install the head.
There are kits like this one that include all gaskets for the whole engine and they can be useful when doing a project like this. I would pick one up and use the felpro head gasket instead of the one that comes with the kit. amzn.to/3JABj8G

Didnt have much of a choice, none in stock locally, and he needed his car. We ordered another from Fel-pro and changed it again a few days later.
