After hearing from original Egedege of Africa how her brother's wife and daughter lied to the world that she is old and bedridden to impersonate her hard work. I had the impersonators for the wicked deed

It's the nature of the dance it's unisex. And since it's rooted in traditions, it doesn't conote the same thing as is interpreted today. In the olden days the origins of some of these dances stem from the worship of the water goddess and as such maybe the requirement of the goddess for such dances. It doesn't mean that the male dancers are gay. On the contrary, their presence in the dance adds to the allure by the ways they are able to mimic female movements and and do it quite excellently in a dance. Sadly, today every issue is being interpreted in light of sexuality or sensuousness, which is often what it was not meant originally.

Do u have a problem with that?

This dance is rooted in the fact that men and only men can perform it, mimicking female gestures. So there's nothing you can do about it. It is a water dance.
