Marines are Drill Instructors, not Drill Sergeants. Also, marines don't say 'YES, SERGEANT', they say 'YES, SIR', or 'NO, SIR' (When responding to questions) then "AYE, SIR" for commands

Because the USMC is officially part of the Navy, so the overwhelming majority of the Navy's budget gets redirected to their navy's ship fleets. Once that's been settled, the marines then get whatever tablescraps the Navy could spare, so that normally results in marines having to make due with whatever equipment their shoestring budget could scrounge up. The army, on the other hand, has their own budget, so they can afford all the new toys available to the armed forces.

What do you mean they use the Kar98k and the MG42? Those are German Standard Bolt Action Rifles and Machinegewehrs. Well if you mean the U.S Soldiers actually took the Guns and used it against the German then yes it’s understandable but they don’t own the weapons. The one in the video shows the 30.cal Browning Machinegun and the M1903 Springfield but if you’re talking about historically then that’s another story
