What about for 12 markers that ask you to consider problems/issues pertaining to a business, rather than asking for advantages and disadvantages? How do I make a balanced argument out of it and get the full 12 marks?

Let’s say an issue would be an increase of the national minimum wage. Advantage would be more motivated workforce leading higher output. Disadvantage is minimum wages will increase in fixed costs elevating average cost of production, this may also cause problems with working capital if not managed well. Does that answer your question?

with 12 marks do u need to evaluate each one in like their own section? or only in the conclusion

Evaluation is only reserved in the final paragraph. Cambridge’s way of evaluation is discarding the other methods and justifying why you chose a method. (Remember to select 1) do not say “way 1 and way 2 are the best because…”

@@Mrlee-business-econ as in like evaluating the benefits and cons of each method : in the video u appear to do so, so does that mean u evaluate both pros and cons in each way then repeat and basically summarize in the conclusion?

In the evaluation, the best “hack” is to start with “I think xyz is the best because….” Then state another advantage. The key is not to repeat your points as repetition will not be awarded
