Thank you so much! My teacher, as nice as he is, gave the most crappiest lessons on this and I have my mocks this week and this being the hardest chem topic for me, makes this video is a prime example of what a life saver is. THANK YOU

Must you always round decimal relative atomic mass numbers from the periodic table up? In the video at 2:46 I realised that Cu (copper) had been rounded up to 64 from 63.5. Please respond anyone!!

@2:58 there are supposed to be 4 moles of hydrogen in 4 grams of hydrogen right.

Correction: You can not 'weigh' in grams, you can have a mass in grams, or you can weigh in newtons.
@willdeary63010 жыл бұрын
Just multiply the mass by the gravitational constant in that location, on earth aproximately 9.81 N
@flameherohd10 жыл бұрын
Will Deary obviously kid trying to look like a smartass, but this isnt physics, and the world isnt going to start saying "Oh charlie, how much do you mass?"
@willdeary63010 жыл бұрын
I know that won't happen, but the principle is still there. Anyway, it is quite like physics in many senses, and when it comes to calculations and portraying information properly, it in my opinion it should be done in the correct way, especially if it is from a chemistry teacher. Also, I am not a 'kid' and this is just my opinion.
@anishkasyap96918 жыл бұрын
Will Deary well actually you multiply with the acceleration due to gravity and to calculate that on different locations you need the grav constant. so on earth it's not 9.8 N, it's 9.8 m/s^2. I mean sheesh. if your gonna show off, might as well do it right lol.

what is relative formula mass mean
@avikmital55485 жыл бұрын
The mass no. of the compound.(like in CO2; 12+16+16 as it is the sum of the mass no.'s of the elements. Carbon has relative mass 12 and oxygen 16. As there are 2 oxygen atoms, 16 has to be added twice.)
