hi ma'am at this point on the video _9:59_ at 2.d)ii), can I also say that in the procedure using b and c there is more wiring required and this will increase the resistance thus not giving an accurate result, but less wiring is required for the variable resistor making it more accurate

It is recommended to also mention the axis at which a value should be on the graph in qs 4

In graph at c, the x axis should not be in cm, because it is a ratio between cm.

Um hello I have a question abt choosing the gradient points, can we choose any points?? Like does it need to be the one that is already marked in the line or you can choose any point? If so how would we know whether the answer is correct then? And also since the marking scheme has the answer range from between this and that how would i know whether my answer is right?
@learntodayIGCSE
@learntodayIGCSE Жыл бұрын
For gradient draw a tangent long enough and get two point from the tangent. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the one marked. If you have plotted your graph correctly, then your gradient will fall within the range. Practice a few graphs on how to obtain gradient and you will be confident enough for your exams :)

It's in the question part d) angle 2 is 40 degrees. I'm guessing when it said "repeats the procedure" it means she did the same steps she did for angle 1 except this time, she measured an angle 40. Tbh, they should've elaborated more.

For calculating the gradient, we can use any 2 points on the graph that are furthest from each other? Also, can those two points be from the points that we originally were given in the table and then we plotted on the grid? Last question I have is- should the answer for gradient be to 2sf as well?
@learntodayIGCSE
@learntodayIGCSE 8 ай бұрын
Yes take 2 point from the graph plotted. Don’t take 2 points from the table because when you draw a smooth line the points will be not exactly on the same line. Plus you must show on the graph how u obtain the gradient Gradient is 3 sf
