I see. Unfortunately this kind of test isn't possible, as far as I know from the alarm manual.

Hi Scott. Unfortunately I don't know a way how to disable this informative sound, I know exactly what you mean. The only way how to make this arm/disarm informative sound less louder is by disconnecting siren itself.

What will happen If I put time to automatically turn on the alarm and one day I go on vacation. System will be locked all the time? Or alarm timer will unlock my system? Also, how can I setup to automatically turn on and off alarm only for specific alarm zones (sensors)?

Hello. Now that's a good question, but unfortunately I haven't tried the Timer in this way, just setting only 'Timer for daily Arm setup' - so, you should better try it and let me know :) I would say, that if you will in 'Defense zone programming' set to a specific sensor an option [4] bypas, then it shouldn't be activated during the Timer - but also in this case, I'm just guessing

​@@morneo3 I made an alarm to turn on every night at midnight and turn off at 7 am. If I go on vacation alarm will be deactivated the first morning at 7 am which is not a good option. Is it possible to make a different schedule for specific days in a week?

Hey Pajo, I've checked the original M2B alarm manual, for specific solar siren you are talking about (iGET SECURITY P12) and translated the procedure for you. It's bit tricky, but hope you can make it. 1) Enter the settings (default 8888 #). 2) Now enter 411#, then enter [43]+[A]+[#], A indicates the number 90 ~ 92. 3) Now enter *# to exit the settings. 4) Press the 'Code' button on the siren for 2 seconds, the two LEDs on the right will flash and then the two LEDs on the left remain lit. 5) Now it's a siren ready for pairing. 6) Press the 'lock' symbol on the enclosed 'alarm keychain' and then press 'unlock' 7) The siren light will flash. 8) Now you need to end the pairing on the siren, hold down the 'Code' button for 3 seconds, the siren will flash one more time.

Dobrý den, všechno co popisujete je běžně dostupné v uživatelském manuálu. Mě by zajímalo, jak změnit obsah sms, které alarm odesílá např. při poplachu. Nějak jednoduše to musí jít. Alarm se prodává v různých jazykových mutacích a servisní piny zezadu jsou vyvedené. Veškeré audiohlášky jsem si modifikoval, stačilo se podívat do datasheetu použitého GSM modemu. Bohužel SMS jsou uloženy v řídícím procesoru a ten je navíc posílá GSM modemu v PDU módu. Nevíte jak na to?

Hello, do you mean 'disarm' button on the remote or on the central unit? Because if you want to disarm on central unit, you need to enter your 'operation password' and # (default: 1234#). On the other hand on the remote, you will disarm only by pressing the button.

@@morneo3 I mean the disarm button on the control unit. I also have an older black gsm alarm, with no disarm button, which you disarm with the code (nnnn#) which is as you describe and makes sense. But on this newer white unit, it seems that Mr Burglar just has to press 'disarm' on the keypad.

@@markdransfield9520 Like the truth is, you can just turn off the control unit with the switch on the back. But if you will hide this central unit, there is no chance for burglar to find it and turn it off let's say in 10 seconds interval after triggering the alarm. Because once I did all the settings, I don't really need the central unit on a visible place - I'm just arming and disarming via the remote.

@@morneo3 I agree that hiding it is the best option: having it upstairs rather than just inside the front door. This can also help get stronger GSM reception, which I think these units are not great at.

The only thing left i can't figure out is delaying how long it will wait before going into alarm mode after opening front door (say if i forgot to disarm from phone) I've tried in setting mode (60)+(93(wired zone 1))+(2)+(4)+(1)+(#). This only seems to disable the zone 1 from going into alarm at all.

I cant seemed to get the internal siren working, i tried to input the code 751# but when i armed it and tried to open one of the window the lcd will only highlight the alarm and will show the bell on top right corner, but no sound please help. Thanks

@@maddie5 Now I see what you mean. What you described in your first comment is correct behavior. If you don't have connected physical internal siren, or the external one, the alarm will just show the bell and will contact you over the sms and call you, but it wouldn't make any siren sound from the central unit
