Thank you Ian - great video very much enjoyed here. I particularly liked the lighting and oiling up as something unusual and interesting to see, and the detailed look at the signalling which was fascinating to watch. The operation of the crossing gates was something I'd never seen before and had no idea that was how they worked!

Very enjoyable video. Pity that Firefly had to be moved the hard way- a Unimog might have been handy. The demonstrations of the various railway operations were a credit to all concerned. The site is a lot neater now than when I was there in the 1970s.

@@igfoo I never got the chance to have a ride behind Firefly. but my Dad did take my photo while I was standing on her footplate. it was very different from standing in the cab of the standard gauge engines. I believe she was still in ticket at the time
