I have this song on vinyl. I remember how excited I was you released a new album. I went to my record shop immediately!❤ like my cage. I like my shades metaphorically when I escape, but my home is 1900 and beautiful ceiling and garden. I like my cage. Thankyou Iggy, I escaped my cage to be at your Birthday concert in Melbourne. Technically it's one of his most critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums. It just happened to be a bit too poppy for the taste of many of his fans. Personally I respect the success he had with it, but I do prefer most of the albums he recorded prior to this ( Party being one glaring exception)

@@katkaplan3 It's okay. I like Pleasure, Rock n Roll Party, Eggs on a Plate, Bang Bang, and Happy Man. I believe his best albums are Kill City and New Values. The Idiot and Lust for Life are also very good. That being said, my personal favorite is Zombie Birdhouse. I feel that album really captured the same experimental eccentricity as The Idiot. It is a delicious slab of post punk and New Wave with plenty of industrial and avant garde flavor. I consider it to be his most underrated album. Sure, the production could have been better and Iggy's vocals fall a little short at times, but Zombie Birdhouse is a great collection of songs and is one of his greatest artistic statements IMO.
