This game looks more realistic than 2k16 and 2k17! Honestly, I think it's the lighting they used in-game. The courts look slick, the players are alive, there is not so much color everywhere. It's nice, I love it!

It's never going to happen... The NFL and NFLPA decided years ago that they wanted one company to make their game... So they made EA and 2K have a bidding war... Of course EA being the much larger company won... And to this day EA is still the larger and more profitable company so I don't see the NFL license changing hangs any time soon

Actually im pretty sure the NFL contract is ending for EA pretty soon, like this year, but the NFL hasn't really shown interest in any other companies other than EA; though they do state that they are open to developers. So there is some hope.

I've been playing NBA 2K14 one the PS4 for the last 5 hours and I cannot stop, this game is completely fantastic. I think the reviewer was right about the dialog, however I think he failed to address how well written the story is on how you get into the NBA and how everything happens step by step. It is way more thought out then previous generations.

I think they did very good. Adding cutscenes between players and interviews during halftime. fans should be more appreciative. 2k puts in work for us.

I just watched my dad play this on his Xbox one and the frame rate is HORRIBLE during replays! It dips to about 11 FPS consistently!!! Also there are a TON of bugs in that version.

Been a fan of Live, and gotta say I havent touched any basketball game in quite a while. i've always been interested in the economics side of basketball team management, so hopefully as we continue to delve deeper they'll be able to add far more features including building your own stadium, custom merchandise, and the likes. I want more in depth realism in the game that goes beyond the court. I'll be waiting ^.^ but epicness, I saw Live 14 and wow what a face palm, 2k has really done well with this iteration.

8.9 is a little low. I think its an 9.5. The MyCarrer mode is a little cheesy and forced. But I don't mind the mute. I'm a legend of Zelda fan so I'm used to it and plus nba players don't have a couple hundred hours to voice record. For like 30-40 different players. Live got like a 4.7 I think 2k14 is at least a 9.5. The MyCarrer was the only down fall but barley because that mode is still pretty cool forced or not.

I honestly think that the 8.9 is a little too high. The MyCareer is not really an issue; it being cheesy and forced is hardly an issue. 2k could have easily gotten them to voice act considering that they say about 2-3 sentences every 5-10 games. Comparing Live to this is ridiculous. Nba 2k14 is a good game, don't get me wrong, but the selective physics, horrible AI, bad defense, controls, and servers hold this back from being a 9.5 which is considered between a "masterpiece" and "revolutionary". I would give the game around an 8.5.

The game is great. If you're looking for a good next gen game to add to your (probably rather small) collection, this is one to buy. Regardless of whether you're on ps4 or xbox this game is awesome. I wasn't really into sports games but I can't stop playing this!

I don't give a shit what anyone says, 2K is the most fun game I've played in a while, alone and with buddies. Especially with buddies, it really get's intense when you're 80-80 in the 4th, and you both really get competitive. Honestly, it's the most fun I've had on the PS4 so far, and I will definitely be buying the next 2K. Also, this is the first time I've played any NBA 2K game, and damn I'm impressed.
