Zenless Zone Zero - Official Gameplay

Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming free-to-play action RPG developed by miHoYo. Players will embody Proxy as they help others with exploring the hostile alternate dimensions called Hollows in the post-apocalyptic futuristic heaven known as New Eridu. Take a look at over 10 minutes of gameplay from the game including free-roam exploration sections, dialogue sequences, and plenty of combat scenarios. Zenless Zone Zero is launching on July 4 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), iOS, Android, and PC.

There is a reason why 99% of Gacha games are the same 4 recycled genres, or why they’re always online required despite all being single player focused. If this game wasn’t Gacha, they would surely also change gameplay and aesthetics to appease to non gacha gamers. Then it would no longer be the same game you want to play.

We use MC to walk around the city/town When you get into the monitor, you turned into a Bangboo/Bunny-like doll to watch and/or observed the team fighting in the Hollow Zone/a dangerous place full of enemies and monsters The pink hair (Nicole), White hair with sword (Anby), bluish black red hair with gun (Zhu Yuan) are the people who went into that dangerous Zone to finished the mission Since we are players, there's no way we only watch them fighting, so instead, we played the game with those characters While in that game, they're the one who did it, while the MC just giving informations, help a little, and observe Not everyone can go into that dangerous zone without getting hurt in some way, so the monitors/TV is served like some gate to access and connect to them without harming the MC (except being tired or having a little headache/nauseous) We aren't them, since our character/MC is not a real fighter like them who can use a lot of weapons, doing tricks, fighting with style Hope this help

we are wise or belle(The twins) in the towns and such but when we get into the main gameplay we sync in with a bangboo known as Phaeton who is essentially a guide to proxies(the characters) the monitors are just representation of us looking through the screen of the bangboo

This is the tradeoff for getting cooler characters and not constraining them to "five basic body types". Even with world physics far less intricate than in Genshin Impact, model clipping and boundary glitching is worth being paranoid about when you're releasing on this scale. The monitors are actually a small bit of genius here; by taking away control of how characters get from one combat arena to the next we reserve the potential to animate them moving through more complex space.
