I’d rather a game look less impressive but play well than look awesome but play rubbish. They fixed Roger's single wristband from TS4, did they fix his serve to platform from pinpoint? Shame the graphics are not next gen standard, but the Top Spin series and tennis games in general, need correct gameplay over looks. Hopefully the pro player animations are correct this time.

Every tennis game since top spin 4 has been mediocre at best. This is 2K's careful return. They didn't allocate a large budget, but as long as it plays well, it should give them confidence to revitalize the series and invest more into updates and sequels

The gameplay also looks identical to Top Spin 4. I see a lot of reused animations, which at the time already felt a bit jank; now it's just a bit silly. Also just playing as one of the actual game's professionals isn't enough; they should really try to actually have their characters animate like them as well. Nothing takes me out of the experience quicker to see Agassi's serve look nothing like his form IRL.

Top spin 4 beats Virtua tennis by a hugh margin. Its not close. Arcade pick up and play fun vs Tennis simulation with tones of depth. Top spin has way more longevity than Virtua tennis

@@SolaireGamingPT Those games are decent, but not a patch on Top spin. Its all about depth attention to detail. After a few weeks of Virtua Tennus most matches play out the same. Top spin is more like real sport, as in every match plays out differently because of the depth of gameplay.
