While trophy hunting has abeen a long-time favorite activity for our crew member Jada Griffin, getting that sweet Platinum isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Once in a while, a Platinum could be the most satisfying thing to pursue as you play a game naturally, but sometimes, they can be absolute nightmares. RNG has not been friendly to Jada, so in this week's F This Trophy, we talk about Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion and just how painful it really is to platinum.

Wait, how does this work again? How can you play and do Limit Breaks without playing the game manually and attacking and issuing Command? Also how come the enemies don't die out and fight over? And your character can't die too?

basically any trophy that makes you have to complete a 2nd play through of a 30-100 hr game on a harder difficulty that unlocks after you complete it on the first play through

Genesis for me took the longest to get to 100% for the DMW. And I’m sure everyone will get as to why that would make the most sense. But thankfully it wasn’t a gigantic nightmare in my case. Still, it’s understandable how much of a pain this trophy could be when it’s entirely luck. But at least you can increase the chances you need in some capacity.

Best way to do this is just put a rubber band on your controller to hold R1(guard) and enter one of the Shinra soldier missions. Took about an hour and a half to finally get the rest. Plus, it helps to buy the purple materia that increases the chances of that character's memories to pop up. It also helps to equip Moogle Power to upgrade your materia along the way. Just make sure to check every 10 to 15 minutes so you can activate Moogle Power occasionally. If your materia gets fully upgraded just end the mission, swap materia, and repeat.

We all know the Tricks. But in the End RNG is still RNG. Even with all Slots equipped with the same Purple mastered Materia it can take more than 12 Hours (in my case)

Even if it makes it easy. Its still Garbage. When you do it like me and go the complete busted Route (played on Hard and killed Minerva already early on in Ch 4) you dont even see that much of Limit Break Cutscenes because you kill every Enemy in seconds.

That was actually easy, the really hard trophy is "treasure hunter" from final fantasy XIII where you need to have Held every Single piece of equipment in the game, which is damn hard, specially since there are missable gear AND you need lots of gil to get some. So that meant looots of grinding for platinum ingots which can be Sold for lots of gil.

It's not hard to get the platinum if you know what you are doing. It took me a few days to get the platinum on reunion. You can just stay afk if you set it up properly and get those so called "rng" trophys In matter of minutes. You guys have litterly written a guide about this afk strategy.

All the multiplayer trophies should die because alot of people play the game in future when uts dirt cheap because most of the game is not worth fill price we all know this
