I’m on my senior year of college and it’s only portrayed like that in movies and shows. I’ve seen people in the age-range of mid forties to early 60s in college. They are usually very humble and no one ever makes a big deal about it. These people really are in their mid thirties idk why they do that in movies and shows (minus freaks and geeks). For example, in the sam raimi Spider-Man movies or mean girls none of the actors looked like high school teenagers whatsoever
