I've had the strange thought ever since I first saw Milla in "The Messenger", that she would be so awful bloody good at Shakespeare. I would give a hard-earned dollar or two to see her in a motion picture based on a Shakespeare play. I think she'd really surprise a lot of people in a positive way. I know the Film is trying to stay true to the Game... but I hate the new resident evil games.. they've become cheesy and to like far out there so to speak. Don't get me Wrong I loved the first 2 films.. 3 was okay i Liked the different feel to it an had a good story. This one.. the last I take it.. seriously what a complete and utter let down to the quadrillogy. Just like the last matrix film was, completey lost the plot and class of the original films. Who agrees?

I just think it's interesting that they are on the 5th? movie now and she can't recall what happens in the 5th game for the movie she is making. I'll give her some credit and assume it's because Alice isn't in the game so technically she has no reason to play the games either. But isn't her husband the director or something? "blah blah blah the movies sucks blah blah blah" i've been a fan of the games since RE2 & i enjoyed all the movies. I'm disappointed with RE4 & RE5, no zombies. Paul Anderson at least salvaged what good Resident Evil had which is zombies. People bored 1 1/2 into the movie? Most recent zombie movies have been crap, Afterlife puts Survival of the Dead to shame. Afterlife is the best movie i've seen in the past couple years.

@JeoXus I've seen all, I've played a vast majority of the games, I DO understand. Why were there Plagas without explanation? Was it a mutation? What? No explanation. Why was the Executioner there? Where did he come from? No explanation. Wesker... still. No explanation. What's his quarrel with Chris? No explanation. They had more action and no actual explaining done. To me, the entire movie was a piece of trash. Degeneration is a good Resident Evil Movie. Anderson is a crappy director.

@usn215 In terms of tehnolgy movie was excellent. But I do not like deviations from the original franchise lack of artistic component. As a work of art and part of the RE universe, it is very bad. Practically the first part of the classics of the genre. Second Tose excellent, but here's the third one was weaker, and the fourth is not the spirit and zest. And it's special effects can not hide.

I'm not claiming to be an expert but I consider myself a devoted fan. Just because it has a story not from the games doesn't mean its a "fan fic". They still follow the basic story and they did a good job portraying Wesker and Umbrella corp. I defy you to find a better video game adaptation.

I would like to see something less Fantasy ,than they did. A lot zombies, main characters like in Resident Evil 1 trailer, I like very much 1-st and 2-nd resident evil ,cuz there was something near to Game story.But 3-d and 4... And this Milla with Katanas and dual weapons its so POP. Everytime, katana,shuriken,dual pistols or uzi.

Milla was right!! There was a LOT OF FAN SERVICE in this film! The guns Claire and Chris had at the end were the special guns you unlock (right down to that cool sound the one Chris had). The gross dogs from the train yard are here. The Executioner yard smash and zombie invasion are here. The attack pattern of the manji are here. The Wesker goodness was there! And the 3D was like the best since Avatar--it looked DAMN GOOD!!

Im going to see this movie. Hopefully it will be a step up from Extinction which sucked badly. Plus I cant wait for them to reboot the movies. Cause I want it to be closer to the games and scary for once. Plus I hope they take Milla out. Cause there is seriously no room for her in the Resident Evil world. I mean I like her as a actor and a person but there is no character she could play in Resident Evil.
